Avaya enlarges effort on China market

DonaldK.Peterson, the president and CEO of Avaya, visited Shanghai again after his visiting on Jan. 2003. He talked with local officials, customers and cooperation colleagues and believed the China market would be good in future.

Avaya will further expand the IP speech communication in China market and help Chinese business enterprise to solve the network communication problem.

The application of Cisco IP voice solution in Taiping Life Insurance

2003 April, Taiping Life Insurance decided to extend the bandwidth of their enterprise network based on primary foundation and used Cisco IP voice solution to build the uniform enterprise network which is integrated with data and voice around China at same time. Taiping Life Insurance therefore becomes the first company in mainland of China that completely used the Cisco IP telephone system within the scope of national.

Based on the support of data and voice network, Taiping Life Insurance plans to adopt the Cisco IPCC to establish their call center.

Cisco IPCC not only provides voice access, and also supports the Web, email, internet phone and text access. It is a really multimedia call center.
