Lucent cooperates with Cisco to push a telecommunication grade solution
of IP voice altogether
Recently, at the 3GSM conferences of 2004 that holds in
Cannes, Lucent Technologies and Cisco Systems Inc. have announced an VoIP
and telecommunication grade multimedia communication solution that faces
Mobile services provider. This was a result of developing agreement which
both sides reached last year, already put into and tried out in the global
customer's network at present.
This solution has combined Lucent soft switch system and Cisco MGX 8000
series medium gateways. It is the important part of Accelerate TM VoIP
series solution that puts out by Lucent recently. This series supports
traditional voice service and multimedia (included Web functions) service.
