Siebel and IBM march into Eurasia and will put out CRM service on
demand
April 21, Siebel and IBM announced on "Cannes Siebel user week",
since mid-May, they offer one cooperative project "Siebel CRM (customer
relationship management) service on demand" in Europe, the same service
will also be put out in Asia in two months.
Since December of last year, Siebel offers CRM service on demand through
British telecommunications (BT) in Britain. The price is 89 dollars every
month of every user.
Siebel showed on April 20, since this business had put out in U.S.A.
already attracted 20,000 users by the end of 2003. Its price is 70 dollars
every month of every user. The present edition includes British English,
French, German, Spanish and Italian, its price is 83 dollars every month
of every user. Siebel showed that Siebel and IBM will step forward this
business in Europe marketing also.
Siebel said that Siebel and IBM will put out this service in Japan,
Korea and China also within 2-3 months afterwards.
The income of Siebel increases sharply in first quarter
Global leading supplier of commercial application software, Siebel
Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SEBL) announced performance report of the first
quarters of 2004.
The net income of Siebel is 31,700,000 dollars in first quarter of
2004, compare with 4,600,000 dollars of the first quarter of 2003, the
increase increased about six times. The income per share in first quarter
is 6 cents, goes beyond the anticipated upper limit of the company.
