ZTE NGN Network Hong Kong Opens with Construction Ability of New Network

　　Recently, the NGN network of Hong Kong Wharf T&T undertaken by ZTE has formally opened. This is another NGN networks formally opened among the many NGN commercial networks undertaken by ZTE in the world. It symbolizes that the NGN products of ZTE have sufficient ability to construct next generation network in the global developed district.

　　As the earliest domestic NGN R&D communication manufacture enterprise, the NGN products of ZTE have been successfully applied in the domestic operator markets and many overseas countries in the last 5 years. In 2001, ZTE has opened the first real commercial network which is also the largest domestic software exchange network. It covers more than ten cities of China. In 2003, ZTE and POS Telecom of Romania cooperated to undertake the national telecommunication network of Romania, which is the first nationwide NGN commercial network in the world. In the beginning of 2004, ZTE win the bidding of the software exchange network construction contract from the second largest fixed network operator of Philippine, DIGITEL, among many first class international manufacturers.
