Channels Software Signs the Mobile Voice Magazine Service Project
of Shanghai Mobile
Shanghai Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. is a wholly-invested sub-company
of China Mobile (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. mainly engaged in the operation
of digital cellular (network number "135-139"), IP call, access
of Internet and relevant information service, technology development,
technology service, etc.
Voice Magazine (the original voice interactive service) and mobile solon
(the original online audio entertainment service) provide news, information

Shanghai Unicom initiates the NGN internal test project, and its software
exchange service will start
Shanghai Unicom has officially initiated the NGN internal test project,
which symbolizes that Shanghai Unicom has made a significant step in exploring
the development road of next generation network. This test will accomplish
the following basic voice communication based on the public Internet and
voice exchange net, and will also launch the following typical application
in phases:
1. The connection between NGN multimedia video terminal and fixed Uni-vedio,
realizes multi-party video call service
2. Mobile Uni-vedio and NGN multimedia video terminal
3. "E-number" service, also called personal communication assistant
service
NGN Software exchange, as an open platform facing third party application
service provider, can provide not only the above typical new services,
but more flexible value-added telecommunication services based on software
exchange platform through its Parlay and SIP interfaces to the third party
(similar to the ICP-Internet content provider and short message SP in
today's Internet). These service provides limitless possibility to the
value-added service meeting customers's demand. Therefore, the NGN-based
software exchange technology and its application will definitely become

Hubei Province opens the Super Highway Service Hot Line 96576
From today to July 27, Hubei Province will open the first provincial
super highway service hot line 96576 for trial. This hot line can inquire
the super highway route, road status, weather, access charge standard,
etc. It can assist to succor vehicles coming across accidents or malfunction
on road, and it can also accept complaint.
This hotline opens on July 28, and it implements charge service. The
customer telephone charge abides by the ordinary telecommunication charge
standard without any external information fee. Customers need not shoulder
the long-distance fee, but the mobile roaming fee should be paid by customers.
