UT Starcom Personal Communication Management System has bee applied

UT Starcom has recently announced it has signed a contract with Vonage
to provide its 8250personal communication management system (PCMS). Vonage
holds a leading position in the global broadband IP market.
With the application of UT Starcom PCMS platform, Vonage company can
provide advanced IP services with high performance/price ratiot to its
increasing users and small enterprise customers. Its service has bounded
the high quality VoIP of Vonage. Vonage company adopts the unified information
function provided by 8250 PCMS of UT Starcom, which allow users to acquire
voice message by phone, Internet or e-mail. Vonage will provide this service
first to US and Canada users, and it plans to promote this service globally
in 2004.
Avaya holds the "leading" position of AP contact center market
Recently, the global leading enterprise telecommunication software,
system and service provider, Avaya (NYSE:AV) announces that according
to the 2004 AP contact center supplier Magic Quadrant Report released
by the study consulting company Gartner, Avaya has outstanding performance
in prospective planning and executive force and holds the leading position
of the market.
This report is compiled by the analyst of Gartner, Mr. Geoff Johnson.
He locates the suppliers into one of four quadrants according to the prospective
planning and executive force of each manufacturer. These four quadrants
are ranked according to the importance: leader, foreseeing, challenger,
and Niche Player.
According to the market research of industry analysis company, during
the last five years, Avaya has ranked top in the contact center market
of AP. During this period, the market share of Avaya in Japan, Australia,
Philippines, China and India has been dramatically enhanced.

Infonetics releases VOIP market report for the second season
The market research company Infonetics Research has released the update
global next generation VOIP market report. The sales revenue of global
next generation voice equipment in the second season has reached 389 million
US dollars, increased by 1% compared with that of first season, and by
10% compared with that of last year. It is predicted that the market will
reach 4.8 billion dollars in 2007.
