Alcatel goes further in developing the conference system and team cooperation techniques by acquiring eDial

  Sept. 17, 2004: (Paris: CGEP.PA and NYSE: ALA) Alcatel announced today that it has acquired eDial Inc, a private-owned American company. eDial provides leading solutions to the conference system and team cooperation system of enterprises and operators. The acquisition will enhance Alcatel in expanding its ability of providing enterprise telecom software.

The first WCDMA telephone put into operation in Tunisia

  133 campus auto voice telecom service platform for China Railcom Beijing has been completed by Beijing Allaytel and has been put into operation.

  The platform uses digital interface card, and ISDN signaling method. The user can get access to different operation flows by dialing different numbers. All the line resources can be shared.
