Increase (33%) of the business income of ADLINK in the first three
quarters of the year
The business income during Jan. to Sept. 2004 of ADLINK TECHNOLOGY,
the technical leader of CompactPCI/PXI amounted to 1.8 billion NT, an
increase of 33% than that in the same period of last year (0.8 billion
NT). The increase is mainly due to the good performance in the field of
semiconductor and IT industry. However, in recent days, the manufacturers
of semiconductor and TFT panel are all planning to reduce their expenditures,
so the business income in the fourth quarter of the year is not expected
as high.
As a member of PICMG which has the right to make the specifications, ADLINK
will co-hold the PICMG annual meeting with PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers
Group (PICMG) in Beijing on October 27 to 28. Major sponsor of the meeting
is Intel, and other sponsors include Acqiris, CCPU, Kontron, NMS, Pickering,
SBS and Wind River. Theme of the meeting: Techniques and applications
