Toshiba providing VoIP telecom to middle and small sized enterprises

　　According to the news reported on Oct. 11, Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. provided a IP telecom system to middle and small-sized enterprises last week. This system can support as many as 672 ports, and also provides a built-in scripting language to help develop corresponding application software easily.

　　What's more, Toshiba America Information System Inc. also provide Stata media application server, which has various kinds of functions, such as auto service, voice mail, automatic speech recognition, text-speech conversation, interactive voice response, auto call sorting and reporting and so on.

　　On the IP service market, Toshiba is competing fiercely with its competitors, such as Avaya, Cisco, Mitel.

VCON won the bid for the construction of the videoconference system of the Nuclear-related Emergency Response Center of Zhejiang province

Polycom simplifying the videoconference

　　On Oct. 11, Polycom released a series of new products on the 2004 Polycom User Conference. The new products is designed and developed to simplify the videoconference procedures for the end users.
Polycom also released ReadiManager LX100, a special equipment for time schedule making and management. It can help the user allocate the rooms, videoconference system and persons through the Outlook or IBM Lotus Notes as provided by Microsoft.
