HXD09 constructing VIP service hotline for Capital Airport
The Department of VIP of Capital Airport is a professional unit subordinate
to Capital Airport and is charged with responsibility for high level reception
for VIPs of the central government and local government, as well as important
state guests and business visitors during arrivals and departures from
the airport. The VIP department has more than 40 years of experience in
providing service for special aircraft and VIPs arriving and departing
from the airport. A staff of more than 200 handles the specialized services.
The department chose HXD to provide HXD09 intelligent voice exchange and
the VIP service hotline to upgrade the services through an auto and manual
voice service platform. The VIPs can search the varieties of the services
and quotations by themselves, and enjoy other services, such as room reserving,
car leasing, and so on.

contracted for the largest emergency response center in China
Shanghai City Emergency Response Center was recently opened.
From then on, the citizensof Shanghai can enjoy multiple alarm services,
including public security, traffic management and fire control by dialing
110. The handling capability and response speed of relevant department
will be improved greatly.
Shanghai City Emergency Response System was co-constructed by the First
Research Institute of Telecommunication Technology and Shanghai Datang
Mobile Communication Equipment Co., Ltd.
IDG Technology Venture Investment plans to invest in Any 8 Ltd for value-added
telecom service
At the signing ceremony of the 6th China Hi-Tech Fair
held on October 13, IDG Technology Venture Investment(IDGVC)announced
to invest in Any8 Ltd, a famous value-added telecom service provider.
Patrick J.McGovern, Founder and president of IDG attended the meeting
to congratulate and witness the signing ceremony.
IDG is one of the first American funds in China. It has entered into
China market as early as more than ten years ago. It focuses on hi-tech
industries, including Internet, information service, software, telecommunication,
network techniques and biologic engineering. Up untl now, IDG has invested
in Kingdee, Tencent, and 3721, which greatly improve the performance of
the invested objects.
The market share of VoIP equipment in Korea will increase
at a rate of 41% each year.
As it is anticipated by IDC, a consulting organization, the market value
of VoIP equipment in Korea will increase from 70.3 billion won to 257.9
billion won by 2008 (about 226 million USD). From now on, the market share
of VoIP equipment in Korea will increase at a rate of 41% a year.
The Ministry of Information and Telecommunication Industry of Korea anticipates
that by 2007, there will be 4 million VoIP users in Korea. However, according
to the analysts of IDC, the development of VoIP services will be limited
as a result of insufficient supervision and control of the number and
intercommunications. Anyway, there will be a great market potential for
VoIP equipment as the KT companies making efforts to increase the IP telephone
business.
