OmniTouch unified telecom applications of Alcatel awarded the Prize of Innovation by TMC

　　Alcatel announced recently that the OmniTouch unified telecom applications was awarded the Prize of Innovation 2004 by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC).

　　The OmniTouch platform is the first telecom solutions developed and implemented according to open standards of XML/SOAP, SIP and VXML. It can be totally integrated into IBM WebSphere, Microsoft Share Point, CRM and ERP. The application of open standards simplified the integration of various kinds of applications in the IT enterprise so as to reduce the cost and working time.

RAD supports Shanghai Mobile by linking the TDM and IP network

　　RAD Data Communications announced that Shanghai Mobile has successfully applied the Megaplex-2100 as provided by RAD, to transit the TDM call charge service to the IP network. It provides a simple and convenient way for Shanghai Mobile to integrate all the TDM business into the IP network.

　　Megaplex-2100 is one of the most popular products developed by RAD on Chinese market. Guangdong Mobile, one of the major customers of RAD in China, has put Megaplex on the Guangdong market to transmit user info and billing info. Besides, Megaplex also gains the favor of other customers, such as Xinhua News Agency, H.K. Electric Power, Shanghai Fire Control Research Association, Shanghai Subway and other government sectors. In this very season, RAD won two important orders: Shanghai Mobile and Shanghai Emergency Communications Center. The later mainly provide satellite/microwave network based communication services for public security sectors and other government sectors under emergency situations.

OKI providing "OKI integrated IP telecom solution" for enterprises

　　Changzhou OKI-GEG Telecoms and OKI Software Technology (Jiangsu) announced that they will provide an integrated IP telecom solution for the middle and small sized enterprises in China .As the first step, the two companies will held activities in Beijing and Shanghai to demonstrate the functions and application scope of the integrated IP telecom solution.
