Avaya holding Forum titled "Best Practice of Contact Center"
in China
Avaya, the world leading provider of enterprise-oriented
telecom software, system and services, held recently in Shanghai and Guangzhou
a forum titled "The Best Practice of Contact Center", discussing
on the three-hows: how the contact center can be turned into a kind of
asset of an enterprise; how it can be transformed from the cost center
into a profit center, and how it can be turned into an important site
and tool for the enterprise to provide the best service and thus to bring
huge commercial values.
On the Forum, experts from Avaya and other companies in this field exchanged
their ideas about the current situation and development trend of call
center. The discussion was focused on three topics: how to use the IP-based
call center to break through the geographical limit, to reduce the cost
and to improve the customer satisfaction index; how to allocate the resources
according to the actual conditions of the customers so as to provide proper
service at proper time; how to optimize the call center through the application
of out-calling techniques. Experts from Avaya gave a detailed introduction
on the practice of leading enterprises for users in China to draw a lesion
from it.
Over 200 users from fields of financing, telecommunication, manufacturing
and so on joint the forum. Apart from Shanghai and Guangzhou, Avaya also
held such forum in Hong Kong, Taipei, and dozens of other cities in the
Asia-pacific region.
Altigen enjoying a fast business growth in 2004
On Nov. 17 2004, Altigen Communications (Nasdaq: ATGN), a world leading
CTI platform provider, publicized the financial statement of the 4th quarter
ended at Sept. 30 and the financial statement 2004. According to the statement,
the global business of Altigen in the 4th quarter of the year has been
growing as fast as in the last quarter, with the business income increased
by 2.5% than that of the last quarter. The annual business income in 2004
increased by 25.4% than that in 2003, and the net income increased by
100.8%. The company began to gain profits from the 3rd quarter of 2004.
SIEMENS signing cooperation agreement with Huawei
SIEMENS Communications Group signed a cooperation agreement
with Huawei. According to the agreement, SIEMENS Communications will integrate
the products of Huawei (Quidway routers and switch) into the telecommunication
solutions provided to the users. The users of HiPath enterprise-oriented
solutions of SIEMENS will have more choices to arrange their network to
gain benefits from the application of the 2gIP.
