The income from MMS will reach 42.5 billion USD by 2005

  According to the investigation report released by Juniper, in 2005 the income from MMS (multi-media message service) will reach 42.5 billion USD, an increase of 100% than that of 2004.
Juniper says that, the quick growth of the income from MMS is due to the fact that both the message usage of mobile users and wireless-service (such as sports news) users are increased.
Juniper also points out that, the world MMS is still on the beginning stage and the customer satisfaction degree still to be improved, and compatibility and interoperability will still be the bottlenecks in this field.

  Ernest Jones anticipates that the above-mentioned issues will be solved in the coming two years.

Eicon releasing Diva Server Analog adaptor

PacificNet acquiring Clickcom

  Hong Kong (BUSINESS WIRE)- Dec. 16, 2004, PacificNet (Nasdaq: PACT-News), the leading VAS provider in China announced that it has signed a final contract with Guangzhou Clickcom Digital Network Techniques Company (Clickcom). According to the contract, PacificNet will accquire Clickcom, a leading mobile network company in China, which provides services for the four major operators in China, including China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Netcom. It provides various kinds of wireless network services, such as SMS, WAP and Java mobile applications. The acquisition will be finished in Jan. 2005.
