Hangzhou Handsome constructing "12345" for the People's Government of Wenzhou

　　In Nov., 2004, the People's government of Wenzhou signed a contract with Hangzhou Handsome Electronics Company. According to the contract, Hangzhou Handsome will construct a call center system ("12345", a dedicated line for the major) for the government office.

　　As a comprehensive information service platform based on various kinds of techniques (telephone voice, computer network, and database), the dedicated line ("12345") will provide a new window and channel for the government of Wenzhou, and improve the overall image of the government by improving the working efficiency, reducing the operation cost, sharing the resources, etc.

Dalian: emergency need for customer service talents

　　Nowadays, Dalian city is suffering from a lack of customer service talents. With the position increasing at a rate of over 80%, it is anticipated that call center industry will develop dramatically in the city.

　　The positions of call center are mainly located in the telecom and financial industry. Statistics shows that at present the number of operators who speak foreign language serving the foreign customers amounts to 500-600. While in the coming a few years, there will be thousands of positions of call center in the large foreign companies in Dalian, so there will be a great need for such kind of operators.

Skype providing SkypeOut services

　　Skype Technologies S.A., an international company providing high-quality network telephone services, announced today that it has signed a contract to provide SkypeOut services.
Cable & Wireless and B3G Telecom has released a list of providers including iBasis, Level3 and Teleglobe to provide worldwide incoming-calls service.

　　SkypeOut has over 400,000 users in the world, and all these users have prepaid the fee to enhance the Skype service (at free), which can be connected with traditional telephone network.
