Company being certified
Recently, Dalian Cp Digital Technology Company held a
meeting of CRM and Call Center Applications in Dalian. The company will
work closely with the government offices and enterprises in the field
of manufacturing, financial, telecom and logistic to enhance the development
of customer relationship management and call center management and carry
out personnel training in the city. The company announced at the meeting
that the customer service training courses of its training center has
been certified by the authority----China Contact Center Standard for Professional
Qualification, Ministry of Information Industry.
ASB winning the biggest NGN contract in the Asia-Pacific
region
The biggest NGN network of China Netcom was put into operation yesterday.
This is the biggest NGN project undertaken by Alcatel Shanghai Bell (ASB)
in the Asia-Pacific region. It can be seen as an important milestone of
ASB in China. Up until now, it has signed such NGN contracts with the
four major carriers in China (China Telecom, China Netcom, China Mobile
and China Unicom).

The number of mobile phone subscribers will reach 600
million by 2010
Liucai, vice chairman of China Institute of Communications (CIC) says
recently that, after 15 years of exponential growth, the cellular mobile
communication network has gained more subscribers than that of fixed telephone
network by October of 2003. In May of 2004, the number of subscribers
of mobile phone services was over 300 million. It is expected that the
dramatic growth will continue and the total number of subscribers will
be doubled in the coming five years, reaching 600 million by 2010.
Shhanghai Tourism Call Center to be built in the next
year
A tourism call center will be built in Shanghai in the next year to
provide multi-language tourism-related information consultation service
for tourists in and outside of the country.
It is said that in the next year Shanghai will expand the tourism business,
developing more hotels of higher and lower grade. It is anticipated that
the hotel number will be increased from 423 to 470 by the end of the year,
and the room number will be increased from 6,8000 to 7,5000.
It is anticipated that in the next year the city will receive over 4
million of tourists from outside of China and 90 million of tourists from
within.
According to the latest news from Shanghai Tourism Committee, in 2005
Shanghai will receive as many as 4.8 million tourists from outside the
country and 3.6 million of them will stay in the city overnight, an increase
of 47% than that of 2003. With the continuous development of tourism industry,
the city will receive about 85 million tourists from inside the country
in 2005.
