　　IDC anticipates that at the beginning of 2005 the providers of equipment and services will pay more attention to Digital Home, which involves solutions such as home network (including home automation), home security system, health care service (e.g. remote video medical consultation), infotainment (e.g.VOD), network broadcasting and network games.

　　Frost & Sullivan announced recently that Alcatel has gained the "Market Leadership Award 2004" granted by Frost & Sullivan to confirm the leadership of the Alcatel's IP solutions on the European market of IP PBX switch. Alcatel ranks the first on the European market of IP-support and IP-PBX.
