Customer Service Dept. of the Credit Center of CMB gaining the
CCCS five star certificate
Feb 6 of 2005 is a day of celebration in the history of China's
call center industry. It is on this very day that the first five-star
customer service center in China was born in the credit card center of
China Merchants Bank in Putong, Shanghai.
It took 8 months for the preparation and examination of it. The project
evaluation group, lead by Mr. Guo Chendong, permanent vice director of
the CRM committee of China Federation of Information Promotion (CFIP),
made a comprehensive and thorough examination on the customer service
department of the credit card center of China Merchants Bank in terms
of leadership, strategic planning, customer value, performance analysis,
field management, personnel management, flow management and performance
results. After going through many procedures, including first examination,
on-site first examination, submission and confirmation of first evaluation
report, standard trial operation, overall performance promotion, final
examination, etc, it is confirmed that the customer service of the credit
card center of China Merchants Bank meets the CCCS-OP-2003 perfectly.
The credit center of the bank gained the five-star certificate on Jan.
31 of 2005.
Alcatel to support the ATCA
Alcatel announced today that it would use the Advanced Telecom Computing
Architecture (ATCA) as the priority architecture for the mobile and fixed
network equipment. It says that this IT system oriented platform is economic,
efficient and can reduce the cost of the fixed/mobile network operators
greatly. In the last year, Alcatel has developed modularized products
based on ATCA technique and Linux standard. For such reason it has strengthened
the cooperation with Intel, leader of the ATCA technique. At the SGSM
World Congress held at Cannes, Alcatel announced it had produced SGSN,
the first mobile products based on ATCA. The 5020 soft switching equipment
is also based on the similar technique.
Huawei presenting in Cannes, France, gaining the respect of the world
at the 3GSM World Congress
At the SGSM world congress held in Cannes, France on Feb. 14 of 2005,
Huawei, from China, made its presence as a quickly growing enterprise
in the wireless manufacturing industry. The company has gained the respect
from all the participants of the congress with its brand new concept of
success and innovative distribution type base station which can reduce
the cost of the operators greatly.
