CSL will move the customer service center to Guangdong to reduce
the cost
Hong Kong CSL limited (CSL) is planning to move its customer service
center to Guangdong province to reduce the cost.
Ever since being put on market in Dec. of last year, CSL's 3G service
has absorbed more than 2000 subscribers, accounting for a small part of
the total number (1.3 million). The biggest stockholder of the company
is Telstra, a giant in the field of fixed network in the southern hemisphere.
Business income of AltiGen in the first financial quarter of 2005
was 18% more than that of the same period of the last year
On Jan. 26 of 2005, AltiGen Communications (Nasdaq: ATGN), the world leading
CTI telecom platform provider, publicized its financial statement in the
first quarter of 2005 ended on Dec. 31 of 2004. The statement shows that
AltiGen has kept a stable growth in IP telecom applications. The total
business income on the global market in this very financial quarter was
18% more than that of the same period of the last year, and 7% more than
that of the last quarter, with the earnings per share reaching 2 cents
Research: the income on the global NGN market will reach 4.8 billion USD
in 2007
According to the research report made by Infonetics, the size of the NGN
market will increase from 1.3 billion USD in 2003 to 4.8 billion USD in
2007.
Kevin Mitchell, director of Infonetics, points out that they have tracked
the income on the 4th kind and the 5th kind of soft switch application
market, and found that by the year 2006, the 5th kind of switch applications
will become the mainstream on the market. The research report is based
on the track on the NGN products, such as media gateway, media server,
conversation controller, soft switch and voice server. The tracking covers
North America, Asia-Pacific, EMEA and the global market.
Dongjin winning the bid for the construction of IVR system in Qinghai
In the construction of the large-sized IVR platform in Qinghai province,
Dongjin was chosen as the provider of major components. Up until now,
it has provided hardware equipment for the first stage of construction.
IVR (Interactive Voice Response) is a value-added voice service increasingly
favored by the users. With the efforts of both the operators and the SPs,
IVR has been developing very fast since 2004, with the size of market
doubled and redoubled, bringing more and more benefits for the operators
