China, a promising leader in the Call center industry
According to the latest report made by Datacraft Asia, China will
be the most brilliant star of tomorrow, although the explosion of call
center industry in India and Philippines has caught much attention of
the public in recent years. Nowadays, Chinese people are work hard at
English and the 2008 Olympic games will be held in China (only 3 years
from now on), which makes the country the most promising place for the
development of call center industry.
With the 2008 Olympic games drawing nearer and nearer, China will make
great efforts to provide more employees who are good at English. It is
much necessary to be good at both Chinese and English for an employee
of a call center in China.

Dell setting up the third call center in India to improve the quality
of customer service
Dell plans to set up the third contact center in India this month. The
other two centers as set up by Dell in India has now been put into operation.
The third one will be engaged in providing telephone-based services for
customers in America and other parts of the world.
Dell has been much complained and blamed by the customers and enterprises
who are not satisfied with its services in India. To solve this problem,
it resorted to the technical support from American experts to improve
the call center service. Senior Management personnel from Dell say that
the company has input a large amount of capital in training Indian employees.
As a result, the situation is becoming better now, with the service quality
much improved and customers giving favorable comments.
According to the annual report by Dell, the number of employee has increased
by 9200, with the total number reaching 55200. Most of these employees,
that is, about 30600 persons, work outside America. This means that the
growth of Dell is in fact a worldwide growth. Meanwhile, the company has
also set up factories in other parts of America. The next factory will
be set up in North Carolina. With the work started now, it is anticipated
that the factory, to employ 1500 persons in the coming five years, will
start producing desktop computer this September.
Meanwhile, Dell has set up a call center in the state of Oklahoma, and
a physical distribution center in Westchester of Ohio. It has also set
up call centers in Edmonton, Albertan, San Salvador and El Salvador in
the last year.
Service hotline opened in Beijing People's Broadcasting Station
It is learnt from Beijing People's Broadcasting Station this afternoon
that, the service line "65661566" will be put into operation
on March 21. It will provide 24-hours service based on the principle of
"providing high-quality service at any time for the customer"
