Alcatel's OmniPCX winning the award of "IP PBX of the best
performance"
Recently Alcatel presented its OmniPCX Enterprise in a large-scale
IP PBX evaluation activity as carried out by Miercom ( an independent
testing lab of America) and sponsored by《Business Communications Review》
(BCR). OmniPCX won the award of "IP-PBX system of the Best Performance".
It is the only one that gained full mark among the tested systems. Competitors
include high-end IP-PBX system provided by Cisco, Avaya, SIEMENS and ShoreTel.
In the IP-PBX test carried out by Miercom in the past a few years, OmniPCX
has always been in the leading position. Alcatel's products is characterized
by advanced techniques (on single platform), various functions and outstanding
performance.
Avaya SIP speech communication solution winning the award of "Editor's
Choice" by Network Computing
Avaya (NYSE: AV), the world leading provider of enterprise telecom software,
system and services, announced recently that, Avaya's SIP speech communication
solution has won the award of "editor's choice" by Network Computing,
a leading publication in the field of information technique and network
industry. After a comprehensive test and evaluation, editors of Network
Computing granted the award to Avaya SIP speech communication system considering
its high interoperation capability and mature functions.
Solutions provided by Avaya are Avaya Communication Manager (a major IP
speech communication software), Avaya S8300 media server and G700 media
gateway. Avaya Converged Communications Server is also available to expand
the SIP functions of media servers and gateway, and provide functions
of automatic calls distribution, voice mails, instant message and message
integration to the SIP terminals. Desktop telephone and soft phone from
different providers are tested together with Avaya's solution to test
the capability of interoperation.
Concerto Software's Spectrum? ACD winning the award of "the best
ACD in North America"
May 31 of 2005 - In the 2004 ACD awards granting activity organized by
ContactCenterWorld.com recently, Concerto Software's Spectrum? ACD was
granted the award of "the best ACD in North America". The award
is issued through the voting of end users. There is no expert evaluation
committee.
