Avaya making efforts in building integrated telecom network for
2006 Germany World Cup
Avaya announced recently that the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany Data/Voice
Integration Network is being under construction, and will serve as a link
between the game organizer, stadium manager, medias, officers and volunteers
and provide advanced telecom services to them during the World Cup period.
Avaya is a world leading provider of enterprise telecom software, systems
and services, and also the authorized provider of integrated telecom equipment
for 2006 Germany World Cup.

upgrade
Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China has successfully upgraded
the call center system by adopting Edify and relevant services as provided
by ITApps.
The call center of Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China,
through the manual online service and auto voice service, combines the
advanced telecom and network functions with customer information management
and banking practice. It finished the upgrading on March 12, 2005. With
the EDIFY 9.0 form ITApps, Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Bank of
China can provide 360-lines auto voice service and 60-lines fax service.
The auto voice service system is based on 2 sets of EDIFY 9.0, with 180-lines
voice service and 30-lines fax service on each set. EDIFY 9.0 integrates
AVAYA G3r exchanger, Genesys6.5 CTI and CICS mid ware. ITApps gained favorable
comments from the customers with its professional skills, qualified technical
services and outstanding EDIFY products.
Micromuse acquiring Quallaby
Micromuse (NASDAQ code: MUSE), a leading provider of expandable, real-time
business and service assurance software, signed a contract with Quallaby.
According to the contract, Micromuse will acquire Quallaby at a price
of 33 million USD. Quallaby is a priviate-owned software company located
in Massachusetts, America.
