FrontRange honored as "The best IT Service Desk Solution for Enterprise Management in America"

Number of Internet-based telephone service users doubled in 2004

Sweden telecom administration authority announced recently that in 2004 the number of users who make phone calls through Internet has been twice as much as that of the last year. In the year 2004 there are 80800 registered users of Internet telephone service, while the number in 2003 was 38400.

Skype service to be available in Taiwan

Xie Ziqiang, assistant general manager of New Century InfoComm Tech. Co., Ltd., made a theme report on the business opportunity of Skype in Taiwan at the 2005 China's Annual Meeting of Wireless and Broadband Industrial Cooperation.
Xie Ziqiang says that at present there are eight countries and regions (Hong Kong, Britain, France, America, Finland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden) providing Skype service. "Taiwan will soon join them!" Xie Ziqiang says, "in the last year, Skype was downloaded for 7 million times and there are 2.3 million registered user in total."
Skype is a kind of free-of-charge voice telecom software, through which the users can make phone call without paying any fee. It is of high equality and easy to use, and will certainly have a great impact on traditional telecom voice service.
According to Xie, In Taiwan Skype will adopt "070"with 11 numbers in total. There will be 82 grade II operators providing such a service in this region.
