FDS became grade A distributor of Concerto in China

Concerto Software, the world largest provider of call center solutions, announced recently that FDS has become grade A distributor of Concerto in China. This cooperation between the two sides will enhance the development of business and improve the technical services.

Rapid growth of VoIP subscribers leading to larger sales of VoIP equipment

According to iSuppli, with the increase of VoIP subscribers, the sales of VoIP equipment will be increased by more than three times from 2004 to 2010.

By 2010, there will be 197.2 million VoIP subscribers in the world, 40 times of that in 2004. In 2010 the sales of wired VoIP equipment will reach 24.5 billion USD, more than 3 times of that in 2004 (8.04 billion USD). By 2005, the sales of VoIP equipment will increase to 12.9 billion USD, an increase of 60% compared with that in 2004.

The most rapid growth occurs in civil department, and by 2010 the sales in this field will reach 10.6 billion USD, an increase of 650% than that in 2004 (1.4 billion USD).

iSuppli anticipates that in the coming a few years, Japan, America and Canada will take the leading position on the market of household VoIP service. In 2004, the three countries will account for 83% of all the subscribers of civil VoIP service based on fixed telephone. By 2010, the percentage will be 56.4%.
