Microsoft upgrading CRM software to compete with Oracle and SAP

According to the latest news from overseas, Microsoft provided the sales & marketing software on Monday (local time) which has been looking forward to for a long time. The company says that this will help it compete with Oracle and SAP, who have occupied the market of large enterprise users.

YAHOO Messenger providing IP telephone service for users in over 180 countries

YAHOO announced that it would provide two kinds of new IP telephone services to enable the consumers to make phone calls from PC to telephone set, or receive phone call with PC.

The above-mentioned services, called as "Phone Out " and "Phone In", are a part of YAHOO Messenger with Voice

"Phone Out" enables the users to make phone calls from PC to fixed telephone or mobile phone in over 180 countries, including Argentina, Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Korea

"Phone In" enables the users to receive phone calls from traditional telephone or mobile phone, at a cost of 2.99 USD a month or 29.9 USD a year. With such service, the users can, during the travel, choose different telephone numbers in different places so that the person who call the users don't need to pay international telephone fees.

MSN Messenger provides free-or-charge PC-PC voice telecom service. Sony, AOL and Google have all provided such service.

China Unicom and Microsoft started MSN service jointly

On Dec. 8, 2005, China Unicom and Microsoft MSN jointly released MSN products based on BREW platform of China Unicom. Through the cooperation, MSNMessenger, that is quite popular in the market, was extended from PC to mobile phone. With it MSN users can realize real-time communications at any time and any place.
