Sony providing Skype mouse that supports VoIP functions

Sony announced recently to launch 『VN-CX1』, a kind of optical mouse that supports Skype, at a retail price of RMB 561 yuan.
『VN-CX1』 is suitable for Microsoft's Windows 2000/XP operation system. It is designed to have a flip case, a built-in microphone, and support VoIP functions. Moreover, it has the function of Hand-Free, and has a LED indication lamp to show the in-coming calls.
『VN-CX1』has a resolution of 800dpi.

PHG cooperating with MSFT to provide IP telephone

Royal Philips Electronics (PHG) and Microsoft (MSFT) announced that they would work together to provide VOIP433 (integrated internet phone and PSTN phone), a simple and compact telecom solution for the consumers.
VOIP433 telephone can be used as both traditional telephone and VoIP telephone. With it the users can make Internet phone calls to or receive Internet phone calls from their good friends through the latest Windows Live Messenger service. Windows Live Messenger will be the successor of MSN Messenger. The latter has over 200,000,000 users.
