FrontRange get investment from Francisco Partners
FrontRange Solutions Inc., the world leading provider of CRM solutions,
announced on Jan. 16 of 2006 that Francisco Partners had purchased, on
Dec. 23 of 2005, all the shares it issued. Francisco Partners is one of
the world largest technology-intensive private equity fund company, with
a registered capital of 2,500,000,000 USD. It invests in companies that
are adjusting strategies, technologies and operation mode. It purchases
the majority interest or minority interest of private-owned companies,
listed companies and branches of those listed companies, at a price from
30,000,000USD to 2,000,000,000 USD. Up until now, Francisco Partners has
invested over 3,000,000,000 USD in over 50 technology companies in such
a way. This acquisition as mentioned above has been approved by the shareholders
of FrontRange and is done according to the general terms of acquisition.
After the acquisition, FrontRange will be suspended at the Johannesburg
stock market.
Huawei Earned 45,300,000,000 RMB in 2005
On Jan. 5 of 2006, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. released its sales achievements
in 2005.
In 2005 the company earned 45,300,000,000 RMB from the sales of technologies,
40% more than that of the last year. The business experienced a stable
growth in mobile network, NGN, optical communications, data communications,
business software and terminals.
Besides developing in developing countries, Huawei made a breakthrough
in developed countries, including Germany, France, Britain, Spain, Portugal,
America, Canada, etc. At present. It ranks the 28th in the top 50 telecom
operators in the world, competing with world famous telecom operators,
such as BT, Vodafone, Telefonica, KPN, SingTel, AIS, MTN, TELEMAR, etc.
In 2005, Huawei strengthened its strategies of internationalization, and
has established a good reputation in the world.
Hubei Railway Communications Call center put into operation
Hubei Railway Communications Call center, constructed by ZhongGuang, has
been put into operation recently. The hotline system as developed by ZhongGuang
has simplified the business of the call center. Small and middle-sized
enterprises can build a customer service center for themselves at a cost
of 100-3000RMB a month.
