Beijing will build Olympic call center to meet the demand of foreign
guests
Liu Jing Min, vice mayor of Beijing city, says at the seminar on Olympics
2008 hold by The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Beijing
Committee, that Beijing will construct multi-language call center to provide
a good condition for communications during the Olympic time.
Beijing will find a way to receive the guests who come from different
corners of the world. Liu says Beijing is planning to build a call center
for these people. They need only to dial a certain number to get language
translation service as well as other kinds of information services.
MII to issue regulations on telecom & short message services
The laws and regulations concerning mobile phone name system will be
issued this year. This means that the name system will be implemented
this year.
It is said that mobile phone operators were unwilling to adopt this name
system, which makes it uncertain whether it can be implemented or not.
However, insider says that The Ministry of Information Industry (MII)
has listed this in the working plan of this year. This means, the name
system will surely be implemented this year. The regulation is called
as Rules and Regulations for communications/short message services. Su
Jinsheng, head of the telecom administration bureau of MII, says they
will try to implement the name system as soon as possible, making relevant
working plans and urging the enterprises finish the tasks. Su says MII
will also work on the start-time and supporting policies for the Number
Portability business on fixed network and mobile network.
hotline"962518" of Shanghai Securities was opened
On Jan. 9, 2006, the customer service hotline "962518" of Shanghai
Securities was opened. This hotline can be seen as an extension of the
business dept, and a customer service platform providing transacting,
information, consulting and CRM services. Opening of the hotline is helpful
for improve the service quality and establishing a brand.
