China SMS acquired by a port website at no less than 20,000,000 USD

Feb. 10, information from Netease: China SMS, which has been engaged in providing enterprise-oriented short message services, has been acquired by a famous port website by 100%. Relevant persons from China SMS didn't say which website it was. Experts guess that the cost of acquisition is no less than 20,000,000 USD.
TOM has been in the leading position in the wireless VAS field ever since the beginning of 2005. Acquiring China SMS is undoubtedly an effective measure taken in the competition. Expert says that this means that in 2006 the SPs will probably turn from individuals to enterprises.

Zinglabs constructing high-end call center for Datong Chunyi

Zinglabs (Singapore) announced recently that it signed a contract with Shanxi Datong Chunyi Development Company to provide an intelligent and customized call center for the latter. It is also the first call center that enters into the industry of electric appliances of Datong city and thus caught much attention. Datong Chunyi spent nearly two years making abundant of investigations on domestic call centers before selecting out Zinglabs from dozens of famous providers in and outside China, considering the high-quality services and products of the latter. Deloitte: income from VoIP service to reach 1000 billion USD in 2010

According to the latest report from Deloitte, by 2010 the income from IP voice service will amount to 1000 billion USD. Digital convergence, which appeared in 1990s will develop dramatically.
The report says that more and more products based on digital convergence are coming into people's life, such as online music service and IP equipment. These services, meeting the true need of the customers, are bringing actual benefits.
The report also says that the most important convergence service comes from IP voice service. It is anticipated that by the year 2010 income from such service will amount to 1000 billion USD. Besides, IP devices, including the new generation of digital music player, household entertaining service, household video phone and enterprise co-operation service, etc. will bring significant income too. It forecasts that in 2010 products and services that bring much income include enterprise cooperation software, IP TV, mobile phone, online game, online music, etc.
