Analysys：Color ring overtaking WAP for the first time in the 4th quarter of 2005

Newswire: Analysys "Market of the value-added mobile telecom service in the 4thquarter of 2005" shows that in the 4th quarter of 2005, there have been 393,000,000 users of mobile telecom service in China, an increase of 4.10％ than that in the last quarter.The overall market of value-added mobile telecom service reached 5,621,000,000 RMB yuan, an increase of 15.44％ than that in the last quarter.
In the 3rd quarter, SMS is still the major source of income for the operators and SPs. Value-added voice service, which developed quite well in the last quarter, is differentiating. CRBT business increased by 28％ than the last quarter, reaching 1,533,000,000 RMB, overtaking WAP for the first time (with 82,690,000 active users). Income from IVR dropped sharply in the last two months of this quarter due to the restriction set by the operators on group service. As a result, the market value of IVR in this quarter is about the same with that in the last quarter.
