Deloitte anticipates many billion-dollar enterprises will be born in TMT by 2010

According to the latest report from Deloitte, from today to 2010, the industry of IP voice telecom, enterprise cooperation software, mobile telephone service, IP TV and Internet-based game will experience a dramatic growth, which may produce in China quite a few giant enterprises who have grasped the opportunity to develop.
The digital convergence technology, appearing on the stage in 1990s, has matured today, and those who cannot catch up with it will be washed out.

Alcatel and Pupin Telecom providing complete IP telecom solution to Usce Tower in Belgrade

Alcatel announced recently that it had successfully provided a complete IP telecom solution to Usce Tower, bringing much convenience, including data and VoIP telecom services, to the 2300 working staff.
The contract was signed by European Construction D.O.O., located in Serbian, and Pupin Telecom, business partner of Alcatel (European Construction D.O.O. is a customer of Usce Towerwith first-class facilities).
Alcatel's solution enables all the users (most of them are international enterprises and famous local enterprises) in this 25-floor building to benefit from the telecom service, such as enjoying IP telephone service, improving working efficiency and reducing the total cost and expenses in telecom.

Hutchison Whampoa to provide mobile phones with built-in Skeype software

3G branch of Hutchison Whampoa is planning to sell mobile phones with built-in Skeype software. At the annual 3GSM meeting, the company said that they would provide Skype3G mobile phone in other regions soon. It has been operating 3G networks in Italy, Britain, Denmark, Ireland and Australia. Besides, it says that it has negotiated with several mobile phone manufacturers on producing mobile phones that support Skype software.
However, just several hours before the annual 3GSM meeting, Vodafone said that there are still 2 to 3 years to go before the volume production of VoIP mobile phone.
