Alcatel's OmniPCX IP solution honored as the safest
solution
Alcatel announced recently that the OmniPCX Enterprise telephone
platform was honored as the Safest Platform in the annual IP-PBX testing
by Miercom Communicatio (See the report in Journal Jan. of Business Communications
Review).
Alcatel has joined in the evaluation and selection activity for consecutive
seven years, and has gained several big awards due to the outstanding
overall performance of OmniPCX Enterprise
Zinglabs upgrading the customer service call center of Yongle
Zinglabs Technology (Singapore) singed a contract with Shanghai Yongle
to upgrade Yongle's existing call center platform to Zinglabs high-end
one---ZingSwitch? CVNET, and provide intelligent integrated solution to
Yongle.
Zinglabs Technology constructed a large-scale customer service call center
for Yongle two years ago. With the business development, this time it
will expand the capacity of Yongle's existing call center to upgrade the
data and business system to ZingSwitch? CVNET。
Internet-based mobile/fixed telephone network will grow by 10 times
by 2010, according to Nokia
Nokia says recently that Internet-based mobile/fixed telephone network
will grow by 10 times by 2010. It also says that IMS presents an opportunity
for both telecom equipment providers and telecom operators.
When the charging rate of mobile telecom service is declining and users
of fixed telephone service are turning to VoIP service, telecom operators
hopes IMS can lead to a growth in the business. Eran Dotan, president
of Outsmart, says that it is quite simple for the operators. What a role
they will play? Will they provide lines only, or gain customers as they
did before?
