Avaya took the lead in the field of IP voice telecom in 2005

According to the report of Synergy Research Group on enterprise VoIP equipment, in the year 2005 Avaya, the world leading provider of enterprise telecom products and services, has been in the leading position in the global market in terms of IP voice telecom port.
The report says that Avaya has been No.1 for consecutive 9 quarters in the sales of IP port, accounting for 20% of the market share in the fourth quarter of 2005. All through the year 2005, the company has been in the leading position in terms of both sales volume and sales income.
 

Intel cooperate with Skype to provide VoIP service

Intel and Skype announced recently that they would work together to develop multi-party VoIP system. With it the users can hold a 10-person teleconference by installing the latest version of Skype Internet phone software on PCs with Intel dual core processor.
Intel says they will research and develop together in this field for the commercial application of such VoIP system. However, since they have not found a proper profit-sharing mode, there is still a long way to go for Skype in China.

90% of the users are willing to use and recommend caller-ordered color ring service

Recently, Fujian Telecom launched a new kind of color ring service, called "caller-ordered color ring service". With it the users don't have to listen to the boring ring tone of the called party, but the color ring they ordered themselves. How about the responses from the users? Research shows that 90% of them are willing to use it and recommend it to their friends.
