In 2009 the market value of cable telephone service will be over 10,000,000,000 USD

According to the latest research report from In-Sat, business income from cable telephone service increased from 4,500,000,000 USD (in 2004) to 5,600,000,000 USD in 2005, and by 2009 this number will be over 10,000,000,000 USD.
The application of VoIP technique in the field of cable telephone gave birth to more and more cable telephone service providers, including Times Warner. In-stat says that VoIP has become the first choice of these cable telephone operators.
The report also says that VoIP cable telephone service has much impact on American market. With the efforts made by Times Warner, Comcast and Cablevision, there will be 4400000 home users adopting VoIP cable telephone service in America by the end of 2006, and at that time there will be 7000,000 users all over the world.

Huawei NGN gives a hand to China Telecom

Huawei announced recently that it had won the bid for the construction of soft switch gateway in Guangzhou for China Telecom. This is another contract signed between Huawei and major telecom operator in the field of NGN high-end network, after the cooperation with China mobile (T1) and China Netcom (long-distance backbone network). Before this, Huawei's gateway has been adopted by over 30 operators in the world for commercial purpose.
