Cisco working with Microsoft to provide brand new telecom solutions

Orlando, Florida: at the 2006 World Voice Expo, Cisco and Microsoft announced that they would work together to integrate Microsoft (r) Office Communicator 2005 and SIP-based Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 with Cisco's telecom system so that their customers can enjoy real-time cooperation.
Cisco has reached an agreement with Microsoft according to which the two sides will work together to provide a converged solution for the control of IP-based phone calls. Cisco's SIP interface allows the customers to build solution sets to meet the demand of enterprises for high flexibility and simplicity. To implement this solution, Microsoft Office Live Communications Server and Microsoft Office Communicator will interact with the brand new Cisco Unified CallManager.

Nortel's "contact center"solution adopted by IKEA

Recently, Nortel provided a solution"Contact Center TO IKEA, a world famous further provider. This solution enables the customers of IKEA to get contact with it by means of telephone, e-mails and Web multi-media applications, and in this way make IKEA more competitive on the market.
