ADLINK earned N.T. 146,000,000 in Feb, an increase of 71%
ADLINK TECHNOLOGY, the world leading provider of high-end industrial
computer CompactPCI and PXI techniques, announced that its sales income
in Feb. of 2006 amounted to N.T. 146,000,000, an increase of 71% than
that of the same period of the last year. On Asia market, including Taiwan,
Japan and Korea, the industries of semiconductor, photoelectricity and
communication equipment begun to warm up, and the sales income on this
market increased by over 100% than that of the same period in the last
year.
Avaya will build the world largest convergence telecom network for
2006 World Cup
Less than three months from the opening ceremony of 2006 FIFA World
Cup (Germany), Avaya has finished the design of voice/data convergence
telecom network for this great sports event.
Avaya (NYSE: AV), assigned to deploy convergence telecom network in Kola
and Hamburg for this event, will go through the integration test by FIFA
at the beginning of April.
At present, FIFA World Cup convergence telecom network is still in the
Avaya World Cup Lab in Frankfurt. It has gone through a strict test on
the configuration, reliability and safety performance of the network.
Next, it will go through an application test on part of the network on
a simulative site. At the beginning of April, FIFA and Avaya will make
the final performance test together on the whole network. At the end of
April, the network will be deployed in all the stadiums in Germany, and
by April 29, the deployment and testing will be finished. On May 15 the
network will be put into operation.
As the official provider of convergence telecom network of 2006 FIFA World
Cup, Avaya has been cooperating with FIFA ever since 2001. it has built
such telecom network for 2002 FIFA World Cup (Korea/Japan), 2003 FIFA
Women World Cup, 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship (Holland) and 2005
FIFA Confederations Cup (Germany).
