Analysys: China Telecom's ICT transformation still a long way to go

Recently, the four major telecom operators in China released their financial statements of 2005. Comparing with other operators, China Telecom enjoyed a higher profit growth in the year. Actually, the growth rate, remained high for many years, slowed down in the last year. Net profit of China Telecom in 2005 declined by 0.4% than that in 2004
According to the analysis, it is an unavoidable trend that mobile service will share the market together with fixed network service. China Telecom's ICT transformation is a start of it, and there is still a long way to go. This matter has caused much attention of the media, is considered as an efficient way taken by fixed network operators to earn more profits. In spite of the high-speed growth of broadband users of China Telecom in 2005, ARPU suffered a decline of about 20%. IPTV and SMB-oriented solutions also encountered much difficulty in the year.

DSTMEDIA Broad5 exhibition successfully closed in Korea and Japan

Recently, Broad5 product promotion exhibition, organized by DSTMEDIA was closed successfully in TEMF HOTEL (Soul, Korea) and CAPITOL TOKYU HOTEL (Tokyo, Japan). The exhibition was focused on demonstration of B5 products and marketing channels, causing much attention of the local agents and users.

Call Center & CRM Expo China 2006 closed successfully

Call Center & CRM Expo China 2006, planned and organized by CTI Forum, was successfully held at Beijing International Conference Center during April 3-5. It has achieved the goal of enhancing the communications and cooperation between the manufacturers, users and experts, and development of CRM industry in China.
Users from different fields participated in this grand meeting. Many of them were in groups with leaders. According to the rough statistics, there were over 3000 representatives present at the meeting.
