Aspect Software acquiring quality control software provider SophistiCom
Aspect Software announced today that it acquired all the assets of SophistiCom
Technologies Inc. Aspect is the world largest company dedicated to constructing
customer contact center, and SophistiCom Technologies is a private-owned
quality control software manufacturer, with the headquarter located in
Schaumburg, Illinois. Articles of the acquisition contract have not been
disclosed yet.
SophistiCom Technologies is engaged in developing quality control software
that is capable of voice recording (can meet different needs for recording).
The application software as acquired will be named as Aspect? Quality
Management? .
Nextnatio, the world mobile media service provider negotiating in China
for acquisition
Nextnatio, the world mobile media services provider, announced recently
that it was negotiating on an acquisition in China.
Sally Peh, manager of the Sales Dept. of Nextnatio, says that acquisition
is the most efficient way to enter the local market. It has gone quite
further with one of the companies in China, and will probably acquire
it very soon.
Market research company iSuppli says that value-added mobile phone services,
such as music, games and video services, will value at 43,000,000,000
USD in 2010, increasing at a compound growth rate of 42.5% compared with
that in 2004.
The first out-sourcing call center established in Wuhan
The first out-sourcing call center was established by Wuhan Telecom and
Synovate in Huhan. 200 positions were put into operation in the first
phase.
Before this, Wuhan Telecom has constructed the largest out-sourcing call
center in the middle and western part of China. The office of Synovate
in Wuhan has a self-owned call center too, however, today, it is unable
to meet the quickly increasing business demand. Therefore, the company
decided to cooperate with Wuhan Telecom to establish an out-sourcing call
center for overseas market, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao.
