BASTOON hotline "118114" available in Hebei province
With the hotline BASTOON "118114"of Hebei Telecom put into
operation, the consumers can get information consulting service through
it, including information on the way.
This service is provided by Hebei Telecom by Hebei Telecom by integrating
the comprehensive information platform and internal resources. Although
there are many hotlines providing such services, they usually charge much
for this as information fee. Dialing "118114" the users will
cost at least one RMB yuan less because there is no information fee (only
telephone fee charged).
Nortel taking the lead on the global VoIP market
Results of the research made by Dell'Oro, Infonetics and Synergy shows
that Nortel keeps being No.1 in providing IP telephone solutions for enterprise
networks and operator networks in the year 2005
According to the research report made by Dell'Oro, Nortel has occupied
a large market share on the global NGN market, and experienced a 55% business
growth in the year 2005. On the market of operator network, it occupied
a market share of 21.5%, and 26% in the 4th quarter of that year. On the
market of global enterprise network, it occupied a market share of 23.3%
in the 4th quarter of 2005, ranking the first on the Dell'Oro global IP
telephone provider list.
Synergy's report shows that all through 2005 Nortel was in a leading position
in the operator network VoIP market. In terms of business income, it occupied
a market share of 19%, and in terms of port number, it occupied a market
share of 18%. Besides, it leads the global market in the field of operator
soft switch, media network gateway ports, VoIP and transmitting voice
on ATM gateway. Considering the global ports shipment in 2005, Synergy
takes Nortel as the leader of enterprise telephone system.
Infonetics owes 23% of the total global income from soft switch and group
gateway on the operator network market in 2005 to Nortel, and take Nortel
as the leader in terms of phone shipment.
HUAWEI implementing BASTONG project for Sichuan Telecom
HUAWEI announced recently that it is now implementing the BASTONG project
for Sichuan Telecom to help it provide comprehensive information service.
