VoIP¡¯s Two-Season Deal Comes to Life ¨C Development of Anonymous Funding

2006/07/12

¡¡¡¡VoIP, a consistent recipient of attention in the web and phone sectors, plunge into the depths of dealing with rumors of its collapse within the next sixth months. The information and production division has confirmed that currently its corresponding funds have a total of 21 projects underway, but VoIP, WiMax, IMS are all not involved with the latest hot technology. These indications come from one side. The aforementioned technology cannot resemble TD-SCDMA and other electronics industry fund projects in terms of receiving state funding and have yet to break through policy barriers. In this aspect, looking at international considerations is relatively easy; although VoIP has replaced traditional landlines to a certain extent (this is an undeniable telecom trend), one must first consider 3G¡¯s setup (ample funding and energy for guaranteeing a landline network) and that over the past two years VoIP has encountered policy limitations that are unlikely to loosen. It is estimated that before and after 2008, with the basic completion of 3G¡¯s layout and the realization of the landline networks of FMC and other landline network operators, competition will increase among all operators, and the government will gradually loosen administrative limitations.
