Handset Television standard was officially accepted in China utilizing technical standards

On October 24, National Broadcasting and Television Bureau officially agreed that China Mobiles multimedia broadcasting professional standard (popular name handset television). It decided to use the countries independent research and development handset television technical standard STiMi, and established the large-scale market introduction foundation in the near future. This standard will take effect on November 1 of this year.
