Mobile Media Has the Fastest Growth Rate in Media Industry According to Report

According to the “2007 China’s Media Industry Development Report”released by the Tsinghua University and School of Communication, in 2006, the total output of China’s media industry reached RMB423.656 billion yuan, up by 32% year-on-year, and the increase rate was up by 24% year-on-year. In the “big media family” with diversified items, the output of mobile media such as mobile phone TV, mobile phone broadcasting, SMS, mobile phone games and mobile TV is only next to that of book publication and distribution, becoming the new media industry with the fastest growth rate.
