Survey: NEC Ranked No.1 in 2006 Enterprise Telephony Equipment Worldwide Market Share

For the second year in a row, NEC Corporation (NEC) has been ranked first in worldwide enterprise telephony equipment market share by Gartner. According to the firm's July report titled “Market Share: Enterprise Telephony Equipment, Worldwide, 2006” authored by Megan Fernandez and Isabel Montero, NEC is ranked first in global extension line shipments with 12 percent market share.
