Anta Systems, Inc., a developer of affordable, turnkey Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) solutions, today announced the general availability of its
Simplicity™ SE-400FXS and ME-1000FXS SME IP-PBX solutions. These new
innovative Simplicity™ solutions allow small-to-medium enterprises
(SMEs) to continue to utilize their existing analog devices (phone & cordless
phones, fax machine, conference phone & key telephone systems) as they migrate
to state-of-the-art VoIP technology.

Anta Systems is delivering the industry's highest value business communications
solution for the SME market by offering the following enhanced SIP-based
(Session Initiation Protocol) business applications as standard options
on its Simplicity™ SME IP-PBX solutions:
- Site-to-site VoIP VPN – Allows SMEs to establish a private virtual
private VoIP network between headquarters and branch office locations
by leveraging the public Internet and enables private number plans,
extension dialing and free On-net VoIP calls.
- Remote VoIP Access – Enables business travelers and telecommuters
to seamlessly access the corporate VoIP network from anywhere in the
world via Anta's plug & play Softphones from a desktop computer, laptop
or PDA.
- Visual Voicemail – Delivers voicemail through employees' e-mail accounts
so that they can retrieve and listen to voicemail from anywhere
- VoIP Conference Bridge – Enables SMEs to establish a conference bridge
on the fly for audio conferencing so that they no longer have to pay
for expensive conferencing services
- Personal Call Management – Offers an end-user Web portal so that each
employee can manage his/her personal communications applications
- Direct PSTN Number Mapping – Ability to directly map a PSTN phone
number from an FXO line to either a FXS port (analog phone or fax) or
an IP device (SIP phone or Softphone) to be utilized as an executive
line or fax line
The Simplicity™ SE-400FXS include a 4-port FXO trunk interface and
a 16-port FXS line interface while the Simplicity™ ME-1000FXS include
a 1-port T1/E1 PRI trunk interface and a 16-port FXS line interface. Both
models can also support SIP-based phones and Softphones.
