of technology excellence in telecommunications headquartered in
USA with offices around the world. We are looking for high caliber
staff to fill the following vacancy.
Senior Video Engineer
Location: Beijing
Summary of Job Duties:
This individual will be responsible for working with senior and
principal engineers to enhance functional capabilities of the suite
of enabling technology in the areas of video, audio, and data communications
for the next generation of applications and services on TDM and
IP networks. The individual will work on the team to develop video
processing technology including, but not limited to the following
areas: standard file formats, algorithms, platforms, environment,
control API, test applications.
Video development activities will include bitstream analysis
tools, designing framework for audio/video storage services with
standard format plug-ins, coding/testing portions of the video processing
components for such standards as H.263, MPEG4, H.264. Assignments
will also include supporting control APIs and test applications
for the video processing modules. Knowledge of C/C++, OO and structured
software design methods are required as well as experience with
real-time processing, operating systems, and system test methods.
Experience with usage of two of the four signalling stacks including
H.323, H.245, H.324M, and RTSP will be highly desirable.
Job Requirments:
MSEE required
8+ years of development experience
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality product, on schedule
Solid understanding of development process and version control
Strong software development capabilities, C/C++
Experience with Embedded Systems, real-time, multi-processing
environments
OS: Unix, QNX, Linux
Specific knowledge of the following standards: H.263, MPEG4, H.264,
RFC2190, RFC2429, RFC3016, RFC 1890
Power PC, Pentium, embedded microprocessors
Experience with standards including H.324M, AMR, G.723.1, G.711
speech codecs -- a plus
