ITXC扩展在中国的业务

ITXC通过与省电信公司（PTAs）建立新的关系扩展了他在中国的业务。这项关系是在ITXC已经建立合作关系的中国电信的帮助下建立的。PTAs是中国的本地区域运营公司，是中国电信的子公司。他们将在ITXC.net的网络上接收和发送来自中国的语音和传真，ITXC.net是世界上最大的因特网电话网络。

ITXC Expands Presence in China

ITXC Corp is expanding its presence in China via new relationships with the Provincial Telecommunications Authorities (PTAs) under the auspices of China Telecom with whom ITXC has a previously announced relationship. The PTAs are the local regional operating companies in China and are subsidiaries of China Telecom. They will be sending and receiving voice and fax calls to and from China over ITXC.net, the world's largest Internet telephony network.

IBM发布多项语音技术产品

IBM Unveils Slew of Voice Tech Products

IBM unveiled seven new voice technology products, including IBM WebSphere Voice Server with ViaVoice Technology, creating an end-to-end platform that will help customers voice-enable e-business for the mobile Internet. As part of today's announcement, IBM also unveiled strategic relationships with industry leaders Siebel, General Magic and Luminant . Together with these companies, IBM will provide the infrastructure for the voice technology market, estimated to reach $120 billion worldwide by 2006.

EShare交付多通道客户交互平台

Dictaphone提出针对Nice系统公司的专利侵害诉讼申请

Lernout & Hauspie宣布，Dictaphone公司，一家L&H的公司，已经在联邦法院提出针对Nice Systems Ltd.（一家以色列公司）和Nice Systems, Inc.（在美国的Nice Systems Lid.的附属公司）的诉讼申请。包括Nice的制造，进口，销售和使用数字记录方面的专利侵害。Dictaphone宣称，Nice的NiceLog，NiceCall，NiceUniverse和NiceVision数字记录器违反了两项Dictaphone属于数字录音通信存储，处理和重新取回方面的专利。Dictaphone将寻求$1亿的损害赔偿和对Nice的禁令。

Dictaphone Files Patent Infringement Suit Against Nice Systems

Lernout & Hauspie announced that Dictaphone Corporation, an L&H company, has filed suit in Federal Court against Nice Systems Ltd. (an Israeli corporation) and Nice Systems, Inc. (the US-based subsidiary of Nice Systems Ltd.) for patent infringement arising from Nice's manufacture, importation, sale and use of digital loggers. Dictaphone alleges that Nice's NiceLog, NiceCall, NiceUniverse and NiceVision digital loggers infringe upon two Dictaphone patents pertaining to the storage, processing and retrieval of digitally recorded communications. Dictaphone will be seeking in excess of $100 million in damages and an injunction against Nice.
