Firstwave Technologies, an Internet relationship management provider, announced a global strategic relationship with thinkAnalytics Corporation, a provider of Customer Relationship Analytics (CRA) applications. ThinkAnalytics' flagship product, thinkCRA, will be offered as a value-added component to companies implementing Firstwave's eRM as their web-based Customer Relationship Management solution.

Avaya Announces Enhancements to HomeStar

Avaya, the newly-named spin off company of Lucent Technologies Enterprise Networks Group, today announced a number of enhancements to its HomeStar system, making it easier for homeowners to manage their in-home communication and entertainment needs. The HomeStar system allows homeowners to integrate the control and management of communication systems (phone, fax and e-mail), entertainment systems (whole-house stereo, VCR, cable, digital and satellite television), home office equipment (computers, printers and scanners), and video surveillance systems.

American Express Expanding Canadian CC Operations

Amex Canada Inc., one of Canada's leading travel and expense management companies, announced today a new business venture that will see the opening of state-of-the-art call centers in Canada to provide travel management services to major North American companies. The first of these centers will open in Hamilton, Ontario and will provide travel services for employees across North America for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. This center will open in August 2000 in Downtown Hamilton and will create an estimated 150 new jobs for the city.

NRealTime, HearMe Partner For Voice Software

NRealTime, a developer of Integrated Relationship Management Solutions for e-companies, announced a reseller partnership with HearMe, provider of real-time voice communication technologies. Through the partnership, nRealTime will offer HearMe's real-time VoIP technology, based on HearMe's eCommerce and Customer Care solution, to users of their Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) software suite. NRealTime will deploy HearMe capabilities including Click&Talk, which enables Web site visitors seeking customer service and sales information to click a button on a Web page to talk to an agent within an existing call center.

Teltone Debuts OfficeLink 2000 2.0

Teltone announced the availability of OfficeLink 2000 Version 2.0. This newest version enables multiple OfficeLink 2000 servers to be networked and administered as one server -- providing a single point to control and monitor large-scale remote voice deployments. In addition, Version 2.0 provides customers with the ability to have up to 96 users work simultaneously off of a single server, continuing Teltone's leadership in the scalability of remote voice gateway technology. OfficeLink 2000 Version 2.0 also offers enhanced system reliability by enabling remote workers to be assigned to more than one server, providing redundancy in mission-critical environments.
