加拿大公司Gold-Tech/GT-CTI已经与Atlantic

Guyana Call Center Deal Set
Canadian company Gold-Tech/GT-CTI has signed
a contract with Atlantic Tele-Network for the implementation, installation, configuration
and the complete set up of the largest service bureau type call centre to be located
in Guyana. ATN presently owns 80% of the local and long distance phone service
in Guyana and has committed themselves greatly to the project by already installing
an under sea Fiber Optic link between the US and Guyana. The initial first phase
of the contract signed by GT-CTI, is in excess of $1 Million Cdn, and is expected
to increase to over $6 Million Cdn during the next 24-months. This project will
link ATN's offices in the US to their 600+ contact center agents in Guyana, routing
all the calls over IP (Internet Protocol) using the CallCenter@nywhere platform.

United Stationers,
North America's largest distributor of business products to resellers, said it
has purchased CallCenter Services, the customer outsourcing service operation
of office products distributor Corporate Express. United Stationers said the acquisition
will complement and significantly enhance the third-party fulfilment business
of e-NITED Business Solutions, its e-commerce and fulfilment services division.

Avaya, Lucent Provide Network for International Naval Review
Communications
for the US Navy's command center for the International Naval Review 2000 this
week will be powered by voice, data and video networks from Avaya and the NetworkCare
Professional Services team of Lucent Technologies. Avaya is the newly named enterprise
networks company soon to be spun off from Lucent Technologies. Lucent's NetworkCare
Professional services team created a network that provides full communications
connectivity -- voice communications, desktop computing, email and Internet services,
plus video teleconferencing transport and commercial television feeds. The network
serves the command post at Pier 94 and five satellite locations the Navy established
around the harbor.
