Witness Systems announced its partnership and product integrations with Kana Communications. The two companies have joined forces by integrating their e-mail and collaborative chat software solutions to offer joint customers enhanced recording, analysis and multimedia management solutions.

Telemedia Gets Australian Switch Sales

Telemedia gaining a new AU$1.5 million contract in Singapore. Telemedia has just won a contract to supply a Singapore service provider with an international resale switching network. The equipment will be sold through CommVerge's Singapore office. The initial contract is for two switches worth AU$788,000 with two additional switches to be ordered in June 2000, bringing the total up to AU$1.5 million.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper and its communication sibling, www.startribune.com, have made the strategic decision to "selectively outsource" support of the off-the-shelf software applications used in its day-to-day operations to PC Helps Support. PC users at the Star and its website access PC Helps by calling the Help Desk Center and pressing the menu option for questions relating to Microsoft Office, GroupWise and Photoshop.

An extension of a global alliance that began in October of 1999, the CallXpress product qualification represents the first and only unified messaging solution to receive AS/400 benchmark approvals from IBM and Lotus.
