AVT将RightFax集成到InterAction中

AVT公司今天宣布，它的RightFAX软件已经集成到Interface 软件公司的InterAction中，InterAction是一种用于专业服务公司的CRM软件。这将使用户在InterAction用户界面上方便的直接发送传真。

AVT Integrates RightFax With InterAction

AVT Corporation today announced that its RightFAX software has been integrated into Interface Software's InterAction, CRM software for professional services firms. This will allow a user to easily fax directly from the InterAction user interface.

统一消息增长报告

Report on Unified Messaging Growth

In a new report entitled "Unified Messaging CPE: Moving to Unified Communications," The Pelorus Group, cites strong growth in system sales. From worldwide sales of 10,299 systems in 1999, shipments should increase to 517,000 by year-end 2004. The leaders in this systems race are Nortel at 12.6%, NEC at 11%, and Active Voice at 9.5%.

中国正式开通IP电话

ITXC说，中国信息产业部(MII),中国电话服务的权威管理机构，将IP电话从有限的实验范围扩展到正式服务。信产部授权4家公司，包括中国电信，提供IP技术服务，ITXC前些时候宣布了与中国电信的运营协议。

China Makes IP Telephony Official

ITXC says that the Chinese Ministry of the Information Industry (MII), which has regulatory authority over telephony services in China, has upgraded the status of IP telephony from a limited trial to an approved service. The Ministry has authorized four companies including China Telecom, with which ITXC has a previously announced operating agreement, to provide IP telephony services.

IMA announced that U.S. Cellular Corporation has selected its Edge software to assist in customer service and support across its regional call centers. U.S. Cellular implemented Edge as a high-visibility desktop Customer Relationship Management solution. U.S. Cellular is using Edge in five communication centers located Medford, OR; Cedar Rapids, IA; Madison, WI; Knoxville, TN; and Tulsa, OK.

Teltone announced today that Southern Company, the largest producer of electricity in the United States, has selected the company's OfficeLink 2000 remote voice solution to ensure contact center reliability and improve support for the utility company's 4.25 million customers in the Southeast.
