E-talk Corporation (formerly Teknekron Infoswitch), a provider of customer care center performance technology, launched the newest version of e-talk Advisor 3.4, its agent evaluation and reporting software which remains the only tool on the market that measures both agent quality and productivity.

Rockwell Electronic Commerce says that GTE Network Services has implemented its 3CS customer contact operating systems and Commander call center applications in their network of nation-wide customer service and support centers. The technology harnesses the information collected by GTE's Spectrum switch, providing access to Spectrum's tens of thousands of real-time data elements, including call flow and agent activity.

US Insurer Rolls Out Point CRM

Allianz Life, one of North America's top 50 life insurers, is rolling out customer relationship management technology from Point Information Systems in an organization-wide move that includes home-based and mobile sales staff. The Minneapolis-based insurer has implemented CRM throughout its variable products sales organization made up of home office personnel and both internal and external wholesalers.

Blackwater Gold Corp. will acquire VocalScape Communications of Vancouver. VocalScape makes proprietary software for voice-over Internet communications. These products include the VocalCommerce service that will allow customers to call a company toll-free at the click of a "Call Now" button embedded on the Web site.
